Not sure what you should talk about? Curious about how to bring up the amazing science project you are just completing and have enjoyed working on? We encourage you as a Dunbar student to come in for your interview prep when classes and exams are over and as you are planning your summer college visits. Not all colleges interview, but those who do are using the opportunity to get you know you better and to have a chance to see, in person, if their college is a good match for you and for your interests. During our interview prep time with you we will review the questions typically asked and cover the important things you should be sure to share with your interviewer. Call your consultant to set up that appointment. June is a good time to begin to brainstorm ideas for your essay. Remember that the essay is a chance for you to tell the colleges a little more about you in your own words. A good college essay will be planned ahead and not written at the last minute. It will be focused, it will have current examples to illustrate your message and it will have been reviewed by your consultant for grammar, spelling and content.
